MTV Games, Harmonix And EA Announce Rock Band
Harmonix, the leading developer of music-based games, and MTV Games, a
part of Viacom's MTV Networks, along with distribution partner
Electronic Arts Inc., announced the release of Rock Band Country Track
Pack, the first Rock Band game focused exclusively on country music.
The standalone software is available now at retail stores nationwide
for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft,
PLAYSTATION3 computer entertainment system, PlayStation2 computer
entertainment system and Wii system. The suggested retail price for
Rock Band Country Track Pack is $29.99.
Featuring 21 tracks from some of country's biggest artists, such as
Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson, Kenny Rogers, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean
and Shania Twain, Rock Band Country Track Pack is a standalone software
product that allows owners of Rock Band and Rock Band2 to keep the

I recently came across an interview with the music supervisor, Alexandra Patsavas, Music Producer for the Grammy nominated Grey's Anatomy Soundtrack Vol. 2 on Buddy TV.com which I thought I´d take the liberty to pass along. Grey´s Anatomy is a very music oriented show that has made music a very prominent part of its presentation. Alexandara is one of the most well known and influental supervisors working in the business. The interview that follows with Alexandra is an insightful look into the music supervision process. Enjoy!
